Species Detail
Bass Good bait choices this time of year are buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. Try fishing for bass in 5 to 8 feet of water near any submerged structure you can find. Also try around the piers on the east side of the lake.
Crappie Trolling in the deeper areas of the lake such as the blue hole is a good place this time of year for crappie. Also try using jigs or minnows around the piers on the east side of the lake.
Bream Fish for bream near the banks with cover and near shaded areas in 4 to 6 feet of water. Try using red worms and crickets for bait.
Catfish Try fishing the deep areas of the lake using liver, cut bait and redworms.

Please be aware that Silver carp are very abundant in Lake Beulah and may jump out of the water and collide with boater, skiers, and anglers.
