Fishing Report

Lake Charlie Capps - 5/21/2024 2:12:12 PM
Species Detail
Bass Bass activity has been really good lately at Charlie Capps WMA Lake. Try fishing parallel to the bank. Fishing near the cattails along the dam is a good spot. Try using spinner baits, crankbaits, or soft plastics.
Crappie Crappie fishing is slow right now at the lake. Try fishing in the deeper areas of the lake near the earthen piers on the west side. Using jigs or minnows is a good choice.
Bream Bream activity has really picked up since warmer temperatures have arrived. Fish near the piers and driftwood along the banks using red worms and crickets.

Nice bass recently caught at Lake Charlie Capps
