Species Detail
Largemouth Bass Bass fishing is fair with anglers catching fish early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Try throwing Texas rigged creature baits around drop offs and buzzbaits around woody cover.
Crappie Crappie fishing has been slow. Try finding deep runs along the creek channels and fishing with live minnows.
Bream Bream fishing has been fair with a with some bigger fish being brought to the ramp.. Try bream fishing around the vegetation and woody cover.
Catfish Catfishing has been fair but is slowing down. Try tightlining night crawlers or livers.

Catfish 10 Creel limit for all State Fishing and State Park Lakes
  • Only rod and reel or pole fishing is allowed on State Fishing Lakes except that carp, gar, buffalo, and bowfin may be taken by use of bow and arrow at night only after purchasing a valid permit for fishing and/or boating. No other gear is allowed at these lakes. 

 

  • Fishing is not allowed from courtesy piers adjacent to boat ramps. Night fishing is allowed from the bank or boats which are in compliance with state and coast guard regulations.
