Dollars for Conservation
Because of the many ways license fees are used to the benefit of all wildlife, the purchase of a hunting and fishing license, whether by a sportsman or a non-sportsman, is one of the most effective contributions today for conservation.
Other ways to contribute to conservation:
- Purchase a WMA User Permit - Revenue is used for management activities and improvements on Wildlife Management Areas.
- Purchase a Waterfowl Stamp - Duck stamp revenue is used for waterfowl management efforts in Mississippi and Canada. When you conserve wetlands, you are also benefiting non-game species (i.e. shorebirds, amphibians, and reptiles) that share the same habitat.
- Purchase Hunting and Fishing Equipment
- Choose a "Conserving Wildlife" Car Tag
- Subscribe to MS Outdoors Magazine
- Donate to the Foundation for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks
