Mississippi's Hunter Education Online Course
Below are links to the only three internet courses approved by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks for Hunter Education certification. Once the student completes the internet course and passes the on-line test, an internet certificate must be printed and filled out. This completed certificate will allow the student access to the final three (3) hours of a predetermined classroom course to complete their certification. Proper ID must be presented before a student will be allowed to enter the classroom portion of the certification.
Once the internet course is passed and the internet certification certificate is printed and completed, using the map below, contact the Hunter Ed Coordinator at the Regional Office that covers your county. The coordinator will arrange for admission to a classroom course for the final three hours and completion of the student certification.
The classroom portion must be completed for a student to be certified and only the Regional Office or Coordinator can arrange admission to the final three (3) hour classroom portion.
