John Gruchy, MDWFP Private Lands Program Coordinator, presents "Strategies for Managing Habitat and Predator Populations to Benefit Target Species."

While predator-prey relationships have been studied for decades, little is known about how current threats, such as landscape-level habitat changes and introduction of non-native species, affects local wildlife populations and food webs. This discussion focuses on habitat management strategies to help wildlife species use their natural adaptations to escape predation, as well as potential strategies to manage predator populations.
