Online Registration for Hunter Education Courses Now Required
JACKSON—The fall hunting season is around the corner which means students across Mississippi will begin participating in Hunter Education courses led by Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) instructors. Students are now required to pre-register for courses online at www.mdwfp.com
2015-16 Youth Participation Initiative Applications Announced
Jackson – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is pleased to announce the Youth Participation Initiative (YPI) will be accepting applications on June 15, 2015. The YPI was established to provide funding for the purpose of educating youth in the areas of hunting, fishing, outdoor recreation, and natural resource conservation. During 2014-2015, the YPI provided a total of $147,274.00 to help fund 21 projects across Mississippi.
