Vicksburg Men Plead Guilty to Wildlife Violations
Jackson - Dusty Wayne Murphy and Michael Shane Uzzle Jr., both of Vicksburg, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Warren County Justice Court to separate wildlife violations. Murphy was fined $2500 plus court costs for the illegal harvest of an alligator. Uzzle was fined $2000 plus court costs for the illegal harvest of a paddlefish.
Murphy and Uzzle were arrested July 4 on the Yazoo River, near Kings Point Island by Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks conservation officers with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
