MDWFP Marksmanship Program offers Shotgun-Shooting Classes
Jackson - Shooting is a skill we all want to improve and shotgun-shooting legend John Satterwhite wants to show you how.
Through the support of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Foundation, and the National Shooting SportsFoundation, free shotgun shooting classes are available to Mississippi residents at no cost. In addition to the expert instruction, guns, ammunition, and other supplies will be provided.
Satterwhite won multiple gold medals in international competition while representing the United States. He is also known as a premier exhibition shooter. The classes are designed to improve overall shooting skills and teach proper shooting fundamentals. All classes will be taught at the Turcotte Education and Shooting Facility(506 Highway 43 South, Canton, MS 39046) unless otherwise noted.
