JACKSON – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is pleased to announce Sylvia Robinson as a Conservation Resources Biologist at the MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (MMNS). Sylvia will serve as a Conservation Educator at the Museum.
Sylvia is a native of Mississippi. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tougaloo College and Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi College.
“I am thrilled to be in this position. I am passionate about biology and wildlife conservation and enjoy sharing my knowledge with families and children at the Museum. The museum has a long history of providing high quality educational programming about Mississippi's natural resources and I look forward to continuing and enhancing this tradition” said Robinson.
"I am excited to have Sylvia in this role at the Museum. She brings with her a solid background in biology and is certainly an asset to our team" said Museum Director Charles Knight.
