SPEAKER: Dennis Reicke, Fisheries/Environmental Coordinator, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, Jackson

 

 Reicke will discuss how Mississippi is dealing with aquatic nuisance species, those exotic or alien fish and plants like Silver Carp, Northern Snakeheads, Bighead Carp, Tilapia, Water Hyacinth and Giant Salvinia.

How did they get to Mississippi? What impact are they having on our native species? What can you do to stop their spread?

$6 for adults, $4 for youth ages 3 and up. Ages under 3 are FREE. Museum Members are FREE.
