SPEAKER: Molly Folkerts Caldwell, Coastal Biologist, Audubon Mississippi Coastal Bird Stewardship Program, Moss Point, MS
Molly will discuss Audubon’s work monitoring the protecting coastal birds on the Mississippi coast including Audubon Coastal Bird Surveys, an ongoing community science effort to monitor coastal bird populations.
In addition, she will talk about their breeding bird stewardship efforts, which involve protecting and monitoring beach-nesting species such as the Least Tern, Black Skimmer, Snowy Plover, and Wilson’s Plover.
