Wednesday, April 19, 2017
From MDWFP

Good food, good music, and birdsong: a great way to enjoy spring! Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to enjoy the outdoor music.

Take a guided nature walk, listen to bluegrass music, explore hands-on birding activities, see a spectacular live birds of prey program, and create a sidewalk chalk bird mural with the guidance of artisits as part of our celebration of International Migratory Bird Day.

Food will be available for purchase from Pig-n-Pint.

Musicians: Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers, Bill Ellison and Temperance Babcock of MPB's Grassroots fame, and Bryan Ledford & the Accumulators will entertain you with classic folk and traditional bluegrass.

This event is also scout-friendly. Girl Scouts of Greater Mississippi who attend will meet requirements toward their IMBD patch and Cub Scouts will meet requirements for the Naturalist Badge.
