When catching giant crappie on Enid Lake, many anglers do not think about the first people who fished in this area, the Choctaw and Chickasaw Native Americans. The North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center will display an extensive collection of local Native American artifacts beginning at the end of May and ending the first of July. Visitors will be able to touch some of the same tools and artwork held by the Choctaw and Chickasaw thousands of years ago.
