NMFH Youth Fishing Rodeo

Saturday May 18, 2013   7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

The annual youth fishing rodeo will be held at the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center (NMFH VEC) at Enid on Saturday, May 18th. This free event is for children ages 15 and younger. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and continues until 11 a.m. The NMFH VEC pond will be stocked with catfish just for this youth activity. Young anglers should bring their own fishing equipment and bait along with a container to take their catch home. Food will be served and prizes will be awarded. This event is a great opportunity for young anglers to catch their first fish or to practice their fishing techniques before hitting the local lakes and ponds!
