"Conserving the Buttahatchie River in Alabama and Mississippi"

SPEAKER: James Cummins, Executive Director of Wildlife Mississippi

Beginning in 2005, Wildlife Mississippi began an intensive effort to conserve the Buttahatchie River and its watershed.  The organization owns  7,639 acres and 34 miles of the Buttahatchie.  The presentation will cover the ecological significance of the river, protection, restoration and enhancement efforts on the river and its watershed, as well as planned activities for the river.
