Hunting season closes when the Mississippi River gauge at Helena, AR reads 41.0 feet. It will reopen at 39.0 feet.

Hunting season, excluding waterfowl, closes when the Mississippi River gauge at Vicksburg reads 43.0 feet AND the Steele Bayou Landside gauge reads 90.0 feet. It will reopen when the Vicksburg gauge reads 41.0 feet AND the Steele Bayou Landside guage reads 88.0 feet.

Deep Slough Rd & Graham Lake Rd

These roads close the river gauge at Graham Ferry reads 12.0 feet or higher. Roads will re-open when conditions are suitable for vehicle use that will minimize road damage.

Hunting Season, excluding waterfowl season, closes when the Pascagoula River gauge at Merril reads 18.0 feet or higher.

Hunting Season, excluding waterfowl season, closes when the Pascagoula River gauge at Graham Ferry reads 15.0 feet or higher.

Hunting season, excluding waterfowl, closes when the Mississippi River gauge at Vicksburg reads 43.0 feet. It will reopen at 41.0 feet.

MS River - Vicksburg

Sunflower 

Entire WMA 

Pusuant to US Forest Service, Delta National Forest (which includes Sunflower WMA) will be closed to public use, including all hunting  when the Mississippi River gauge at Vicksburg reads 43.0 feet AND the Steele Bayou Landside gauge reads 90.0 feet. The emergency closure order, pursuant to Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations, 36 CFR 261.50(a) and (b), and for the protection of the public and natural resources, will go into effect until an undetermined date when the floodwaters recede.

Hunting season, excluding waterfowl, closes when the Mississippi River gauge at Vicksburg reads 43.0 feet AND the Steele Bayou Landside gauge reads 90.0 feet. It will reopen when the Vicksburg gauge reads 41.0 feet AND the Steele Bayou Landside guage reads 88.0 feet.
