The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) is currently lowering the water level at Lake Bogue Homa for spillway repair. Anglers and boaters should be aware that lower water levels may expose boating hazards such as stumps and trees. Should boat ramp access be impacted, MDWFP will send out a public advisory.

The water level will be returned to normal once the spillway repair has been completed.

Lake Bogue Homa is an 882-acre lake located in Jones County, 6 mi. E of Laurel on Hwy 84. For more information call the lake office at (601) 425-2148.
