For most people, the Museum exists as a near-magical place for children and families to engage with and learn about natural Mississippi.
Each year, visitors from all 50 states and many foreign countries enjoy the Museum's indoor exhibits and 300-acres of natural landscape, nature trails, a Dinosaur Trail, and the LeFleur's Bluff Playground.
Along with the usual Museum features, we also offer many exciting and educational activities for children, such as our popular creature features, hands-on fish feedings, and summer camps.
Down the hall from our exhibits is the popular Preschool Discovery Room.
And for kids of all ages, we have our online Kids Corner, which includes a wide variety of science activity sheets, workbooks, puzzles, and more.
The entire family will find new books, toys, Museum T-shirts, and artwork in our busy Dragonfly Shop.
