The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) hosted a public meeting to discuss Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) at the Vicksburg Convention Center on March 19, 2018. Presentations were given by Dr. Margaret Wild, National Park Service Veterinarian and Cory Gray, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. In addition to providing more information about the disease, MDWFP biologists, MDWFP law enforcement personnel, and other professionals also discussed Mississippi’s CWD Response Plan and answered questions.
