Pursuant to the Mississippi Open Meetings Act, Miss. Code Ann. 25-41-1, et. seq., due to circumstances beyond their control, several Commissioners have had conflicts arise with the scheduled meeting date of July 17, 2017. It has become apparent to the Chairman that a quorum will NOT be available either in the physical location for the meeting, or remotely via teleconference. A quorum not being available, the Chairman has exercised his discretion and directed that the meeting of the Commission currently scheduled for July 17, 2017, both Educational and Business Session, are hereby cancelled. All agenda items for the July meeting are hereby postponed until the next meeting of the Commission in August, 2017.
