Enjoy spooky science and family fun at "Park After Dark" hosted by MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the Mississippi Children’s Museum

The museums are adjacent to one another near LeFleur’s Bluff State Park in Jackson’s LeFleur Museum District at I-55 and Lakeland Drive.

Create creepy crawly crafts, go trick-or-treating through both museums, experience the Spotter-the-Otter Trail, and enjoy the evening’s activities while wearing your costumes at this spook-tacular event.

Travel safely between both museums using Spotter’s Adventure Trail in the LeFleur's Bluff Complex.

  • Celebrate fall festivities in a safe and fun environment. 
  • Visitors of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes.
  • Bring a flashlight or two.
  • Bring a bag or bucket to collect your candy
  • Activities and decorations at both museums are suitable for all ages.

TICKETS:

  • Online ticket sales open in early October 2024 and tickets will be available at the door of both museums during the event.
  • (Ticket Price Coming Soon) Enjoy both award-winning museums for $xx per person for Members and Non-Members. You must have a wristband to participate in Playground activities. Please check-in at MDWFP's Mississippi Museum of Natural Science or the Mississippi Children’s Museum.

PARKING and TRAVEL BETWEEN MUSEUMS:

  • Please use Spotter’s Adventure Trail to walk safely between the two museums.
  • Overflow parking will be available in the northbound lane of Museum Boulevard. Please park and use the sidewalk facing north to walk safely.
