S.T.E.M., Leaves, and Trees 2025

Join us as we celebrate Mississippi Arbor Day through S.T.E.M. crafts, games, and interactive displays featuring Mississippi trees!

Get white, oak, pin oak, and shumard oak trees, too, while supplies last.

  • Make a leaf-print Valentine's Day card because we LOVE trees!
  • Take a guided tree hike
  • Enjoy "A Log's Life" story time with Uncle Story from the MS Ag and Forestry Museum!
• Special Interactive, Themed Exhibits
• Tour the Museum's permanent exhibits, the "Mindbender Mansion" exhibit, and hike the nature trails
• Explore the Dinosaur Trail

After your museum visit, take Spotter’s Adventure Trail to the LeFleur’s Bluff Playground and see Maggie (a black bear sculpture) and Spotter the Otter - carved from trees on the Playground by award-winning chainsaw artist, Dayton Scoggins.

This event is included with Museum admission or with Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation Membership.
