Bee Lake is a public oxbow lake located in Holmes County, Mississippi. Bee Lake is a 1,400 acre oxbow lake in Holmes County. It is one of the largest natural lakes along the bluff line between the flatlands of the Delta and the forested uplands of the Yazoo River Basin. Historical data suggests that the lake was formed by the Ohio River. The lake is long, roughly 14 miles from its upper to lower end. The lake has an average depth of 5 - 6 feet.

BassBass fishing has been slow at Bee Lake. Bass should be in their spawning/post spawn areas. Try targeting shallow spawning flats and structure along the edges of the flats. Suspended crank baits, spinner baits, and Texas rigged soft plastics could be good choices to find fish. 
CrappieCrappie fishing has been slow at Bee Lake. There are reports of anglers catching crappie in 1-3 feet around cypress trees but the bite still seems to be slow. Fishing from a boat or wading with minnows and jigs has produced fish.
BreamBream should be shallow preparing for their spawn. Try targeting shallow cover and vegetation with crickets and worms.
CatfishCatfish should be in shallow to medium depths. Try tight lining liver, nightcrawlers, or cut bait near structure.
