*Lake Beulah is a public oxbow lake managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP), which oversees the lake's fisheries resources and provides regular fishing reports.

Lake Beulah is an oxbow lake of the Mississippi River in Bolivar County. The lake is periodically connected to the Mississippi River when the river is high enough. The lake is approximately 1,000 acres in size, though size will change with the fluctuating water levels of the Mississippi River. The lake is surrounded primarily by bottomland hardwood forests.

BassGood bait choices this time of year are buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. Try fishing for bass in 5 to 8 feet of water near any submerged structure you can find. Also try around the piers on the east side of the lake.
CrappieTrolling in the deeper areas of the lake such as the blue hole is a good place this time of year for crappie. Also try using jigs or minnows around the piers on the east side of the lake.
BreamFish for bream near the banks with cover and near shaded areas in 4 to 6 feet of water. Try using red worms and crickets for bait.
CatfishTry fishing the deep areas of the lake using liver, cut bait and redworms.
