The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) wants to inform boaters of a boat ramp closure at Neshoba County Lake due to unsafe navigation conditions. Damage to the dam’s spillway required lake levels to be lowered which created numerous shallow areas and dangerous boating conditions.

Bank fishing remains open to the public. Anglers must have a valid state lake permit and a Mississippi fishing license unless exempt under state law.
