MDWFP hosted grand opening of Percy Quin Love Lock Bridge

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) hosted the grand opening of the Percy Quin Love Lock Bridge at Percy Quin State Park last week. The grand opening was during the annual Association of Southeastern State Parks Directors (ASSPD) conference. Attendees of the ASSPD conference along with MDWFP parks staff were the first to put a lock on the bridge.  The Love Lock Bridge is a newly constructed two-lane bridge at the park. The bridge was then dedicated as the Love Lock Bridge for visitors to mark their visit at Percy Quin State Park. 

Percy Quin State Park is located in McComb, MS and recently had their grand re-opening in July of this year. The grand re-opening marked the completion of the renovations at the park which included the bridge replacement, cabin renovations, campground improvements, camp store implementation, and more. 

All visitors are welcome to put a lock on the Love Lock Bridge. Soon, a machine will be placed in the camp store where visitors can customize and purchase their own locks to place on the bridge to commemorate their visit to Percy Quin State Park.
