This collaborative event between MDWFP, MMNS, The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation (MMNSF), and MSO is supported in part by funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. “Events like Moonlight, Music, and Meteors showcase what makes The Den so special - bringing people together to experience the beauty of nature in unforgettable ways,” said Museum Director Angel Rohnke. MMNSF, which helps support the Museum and this beloved event, echoed the sentiment: “Moonlight is one of those magical nights where science, art, and nature blend perfectly. We’re proud to support this unique experience and celebrate connecting families to Mississippi’s wild side,” said MMNSF Executive Director Susan Frazier.
“We are delighted to provide a creative program of music to enrich an evening of star and planet-gazing. We look forward to exploring the cross-section of MSO and the Museum’s missions,” said MSO Maestro Crafton Beck.
