The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has drained Neshoba County Lake for spillway repairs and closed recreational access to the lake. The 138-acre state fishing lake is located 7 miles southeast of Philadelphia on Hwy 486 in Neshoba County.

Fishing and boating of any kind are not permitted at the lake until repairs are completed. However, the campground, with 22 developed campsites with electrical, water, and sewer hookups, will remain open. Pavilion rentals are also still available with appropriate permits.
