The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) invites you to be among one of the first to stay at the newly renovated campsites for RV camping at Roosevelt State Park in Morton, Mississippi. 

Beginning Friday, February 21, 2025, visitors can begin making reservations for the campgrounds online at https://reserve.mdwfp.com/roosevelt/camping. Roosevelt State Park has two different campgrounds, R.O. Hannah and CCC. R.O. Hannah Campground (sites 1-42) is open for reservations that begin Friday, March 7, 2025. The CCC campground (sites 43-109) is open for reservations that begin Friday, April 4, 2025. 

Roosevelt State Park has 110 newly renovated RV campsites. Each newly renovated campsite includes: 

  • Full hookup with water, electricity and sewer 
  • Picnic table
  • Grill

Roosevelt State Park also has other new renovations and amenities such as four newly renovated bathhouses, kayak rentals, pickle ball court, newly refinished pool slide, and camp store. 

Guests can enjoy weekend long activities at the park such as fishing, boating, day-use area including playground, nature trail, disc golf, and tennis courts. Entry fee to the park is $2.00 per person and children ages 5 and under are free. 

Please be aware, Mississippi State Parks is currently undergoing a reservation system upgrade that will temporarily impact your ability to book reservations statewide. From now until February 28, 2025, guests can book for the entire year. From March 1 until March 31, 2025, guests can only book March reservations. Beginning April 1, 2025, the reservation system will reopen in full.
