About The Park
The Clark Creek Natural Area, created in 1978 in southwestern Mississippi, is one of the Magnolia State's most beautiful outdoor treasures. Comprised of more than 700 acres, it is highlighted by some 50 waterfalls, ranging in size from 10 to 30 plus feet in height.

The forest tract provides an excellent habitat for a recovering species in Mississippi - the black bear.
Bird-watching, hiking, photography, and botanizing are available at Clark Creek Natural Area on the established trails.
Hunting is not allowed on the property. Camping and motorized vehicles are not allowed. Only foot traffic is permitted.
Prior to embarking on a hiking excursion, it is advised that visitors ensure their medical fitness. Situated within a relatively secluded region of the county, Clark Creek Natural Area may pose challenges in accessing prompt medical assistance. Exercise caution, particularly on steep trails and in proximity to waterfalls, to mitigate potential risks.
Trail-goers should plan to take plenty of water on any outing. Remember to bring good hiking shoes!
