Nature and Mountain Bike Trail
Trace State Park Nature Trail offers a unique landscape of upland pine, hardwoods, and wetland forest. It has over 17 miles of trails for hikers and mountain bikers. Equestrian and ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) Trail
Trace State Park offers equestrian lovers a wide range of trail use. A trail dedicated to mountain bike users is set aside for dedicated use. This trail meanders through a canopy of hardwoods and pines, with great views of the lake along the way.
A vast complexity of 35 miles of combined usage trails for ORVs, mountain bikers, hikers, and equestrian users. Also available in our ORV Trails Area is a horse barn for overnight accommodations, which may be made by contacting the park office. Release forms must be on file (yearly) at the park office for each user. A daily fee is charged. Requirement: Persons operating or riding on an ATV must possess a valid driver's license or possess an All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Course Certificate.
