If you're a Mississippi outdoor enthusiast and want to pass on the passion and heritage of hunting, fishing, boating, or just enjoying the great outdoors, you may want to consider becoming a Volunteer Hunter or Boater Education Instructor.

Hunter/Boater Instructor Certification

Many hunter and boater education courses across the State of Mississippi are taught by volunteers, who are the "backbone" of the program. Being a Volunteer Hunter Education Instructor takes time and dedication, but it provides many personal rewards.

Please read carefully the following steps for becoming a volunteer. If you have any questions, please contact your Regional Hunter/Boater Education Coordinator.
