Fishing Report - Updated 6/25/24

BassFishing has been good. Focus fishing effort with soft plastics in a green/black/red coloration. Minnows and spinnerbaits also work well. Fish have been biting in the shallows.  With the warmer weather fish should be moving to deeper water.
Crappie Fishing has been good. Focus fishing effort with soft plastics in a green/black/red coloration. Minnows and spinner baits also work well. A spray-on fish attractant is also helpful because a large part of the crappie’s predatory instinct is scent driven. With the warmer weather fish should be moving to deeper water.
BreamFishing has been fair. Focus fishing effort near vegetation with small beetle spin or fish using redworms, nightcrawlers, and crickets. With the warmer weather fish should be moving to deeper water.
Catfish Fishing has been fair. Focus fishing effort on the bottom with red worms, liver, and other stink baits. Fish have been biting in the early mornings and late evenings near the piers and past the spillway.
