Fishing Report - Updated 11/20/24

BassBass fishing has been slow. Anglers have reported catching fish on topwater baits. Fish should be transitioning to fall patterns. Top water baits fished along shallow banks near laydowns may produce some good action. Try bass fishing around laydowns and along the dam. Focus on ledges and drop-offs in medium depths with cover or structure. Crankbaits, jerk baits, dropshots, and Carolina rigs would be good choices for baits.
CrappieCrappie fishing has been fair. The bite has picked up recently and more fish are being caught. Try targeting drop-offs and cover near creek channels and points with minnows or jigs. Fish slow and look for fish in 8-10 foot of water.
BreamBream fishing is fair. Angler reports suggest that the bite has begun to increase. Try targeting bream near cover like laydowns and brush piles in medium depths. Anglers report that both crickets and worms are effective baits.
Catfish Catfishing has been slow. Angler reports suggest redworms have been the bait of choice recently. Other bait options like chicken liver and stink bait can work as well. Target deeper areas near the dam and main lake points.

Water Temperature:  72°F

Water visibility: 28 inches
