Bass | Bass fishing has been fair. Try fishing with topwater lures and minnows. Targeting main lake points and offshore structures at deeper depths can also be effective. |
Crappie | Crappie fishing has been good. Try fishing with jigs and minnows. Given the current cold front, crappie may be less active. It's advisable to fish during the warmer parts of the day and focus on deeper areas where fish are likely to be more active. |
Bream | Bream fishing has been poor. Target bream in deeper waters near structures such as submerged brush piles or fallen trees. Using live bait like crickets or worms suspended under a bobber at depths of 4 to 6 feet can be effective. |
Catfish | Catfish fishing has been poor. Try using cut bait like shad or chicken liver on the bottom to be effective. |
