Bass | Bass fishing has been fair. Try trolling live shiners near spawning flats and creek channels, work dark colored soft plastics or jigs around shallow cover and drop offs, or focus early mornings or late afternoons on transistion areas with top waters. |
Crappie | Crappie fishing has been slow. Try trolling live minnows tight-lined in 15-25 feet of water along the creek channel. Fish small bright jigs (chartreuse or white) near timber or brush by the dam or stick to deep water. |
Bream | Bream fishing has been excellent. Use crickets or redworms under a cork near shallow cover or channel edges. Tightline worms in 10-15 feet of water for redear and keep baits small and close to cover. |
Catfish | Catfish fishing has been slow. Fish cut bait or nightcrawlers on the bottom near creek channel or along the dam after dark. Baits such as chicken liver have also been popular |
