Museum Camp at lake Lamar Bruce (Entering Grades 4-8)

This camp will engage campers entering grades 4-8 in hands-on activities designed to increase outdoors skills and foster a love of nature.

Activities will include fishing, fire building, hands-on lessons in forestry, herpetology, water ecology, and entomology.

Please send campers with a lunch, two snacks, and a reusable water bottle daily.

**There is no indoor facility for us to use. If camp needs to be rescheduled due to weather, we will add a session to Friday.

BONUS: Campers may also choose to participate on Friday in an optional late night or overnight campout with an adult. Those who choose not to spend the night but wish to participate in night activities can be picked up at 9:30pm (or earlier by arrangement).  Overnight campers must have an accompanying adult. The only food provided will be dinner Friday night and a light breakfast Saturday morning. If the overnight needs to be rescheduled we will make every attempt but cannot guarantee a makeup. The camper’s entire family is welcome to join. We will need a final head count by Tuesday of camp.
